Death Certificate / Registration of Death abroad and Certificate for transporting dead bodies to India: Death of Indian nationals in Angolashould be registered with the Embassy by submitting the prescribed Death Registration Form along with passport of the deceased.
- Duly filled in Miscellaneous service application form ( Click the link )
- Original passport of the deceased.
- Death certificate (Bulletin de Obito) issued by local Angolan authorities.
- Post Mortem Report / Autopsy report by the Hospital
(Please note that the Death Certificate or any other government document should mention the cause of death)
- Burial/Cremation Certificate from Funeral Home and copy thereof
- Name, address and BID copy of the person applying for Death Registration
- No Fee and it is issued same day.
If the next of kin/ relative(s)/ family member of the deceased wish to transport the dead body to India for funeral purposes, the Embassy issues a "No Objection Certificate" in this regard.

- Complete all procedure for Death Certificate as above.
- Cancelled passport of the deceased.
- Death Certificate issued by Embassy in original and a copy thereof.
- Letter from Public Health Office indicating "No Communicable disease".
- Embalming Certificate.
- Name, address, telephone number, etc of the consignee.
- Flight details.
- No Fee for Indian passport holder and it is issued same day
If the next of kin/ relative(s)/ family member etc. of the deceased wish to transport the ashes to India, the Embassy issues a "No Objection Certificate" in this regard.

- Death Certificate in original and a copy thereof.
- Cremation Certificate.
- Certificate of packing indicating name, age, date, time and cause of death, contents of package
- Name, address and passport particulars of the person taking the ashes and a photocopy of the passport.
